The Rockland Education Foundation was formed in 1996 by its Charter Foundation Subscribers, a group of individuals, organizations and businesses that donated One Thousand dollars each to get the Foundation off the ground and to establish an endowment fund for future grant giving with the goal of raising enough money to provide several grants each year to enrich the Rockland Public Schools academic programs. Since its inception, The Rockland Education Foundation has provided the Rockland Public Schools with over $300,000.00 in funding for innovative learning programs, projects, books, computers and new technology.
Each fall, teachers and administrators in the Rockland Public Schools are encouraged to submit grant proposals to the REF for consideration. To download grant forms, visit our GRANTS page.
